25 Things To Do Before You Turn 25

1. Make peace with your parents. Whether you finally recognize that they actually have your best interests in mind or you forgive them for being flawed human beings, you can’t happily enter adulthood with that familial brand of resentment.

2. Kiss someone you think is out of your league; kiss models and med students and entrepreneurs with part-time lives in Dubai and don’t worry about if they’re going to call you afterward.

3. Minimize your passivity.

4. Work a service job to gain some understanding of how tipping works, how to keep your cool around assholes, how a few kind words can change someone’s day.

5. Recognize freedom as a 5:30 a.m. trip to the diner with a bunch of strangers you’ve just met.

6. Try not to beat yourself up over having obtained a ‘useless’ Bachelor’s Degree. Debt is hell, and things didn’t pan out quite like you expected, but you did get to go to college, and having a degree isn’t the worst thing in the world to have. We will figure this mess out, I think, probably; the point is you’re not worth less just because there hasn’t been an immediate pay off for going to school. Be patient, work with what you have, and remember that a lot of us are in this together.

7. If you’re employed in any capacity, open a savings account. You never know when you might be unemployed or in desperate need of getting away for a few days. Even $10 a week is $520 more a year than you would’ve had otherwise.

8. Make a habit of going outside, enjoying the light, relearning your friends, forgetting the internet.

9. Go on a 4-day, brunch-fueled bender.

10. Start a relationship with your crush by telling them that you want them. Directly. Like, look them in the face and say it to them. Say, I want you. I want to be with you.

11. Learn to say ‘no’ — to yourself. Don’t keep wearing high heels if you hate them; don’t keep smoking if you’re disgusted by the way you smell the morning after; stop wasting entire days on your couch if you’re going to complain about missing the sun.

12. Take time to revisit the places that made you who you are: the apartment you grew up in, your middle school, your hometown. These places may or may not be here forever; you definitely won’t be.

13. Find a hobby that makes being alone feel lovely and empowering and like something to look forward to.

14. Think you know yourself until you meet someone better than you.

15. Forget who you are, what your priorities are, and how a person should be.

16. Identify your fears and instead of letting them dictate your every move, find and talk to people who have overcome them. Don’t settle for experiencing .000002% of what the world has to offer because you’re afraid of getting on a plane.

17. Make a habit of cleaning up and letting go. Just because it fit at one point doesn’t mean you need to keep it forever — whether ‘it’ is your favorite pair of pants or your ex.

18. Stop hating yourself.

19. Go out and watch that movie, read that book, listen to that band you already lied about watching, reading, listening to.

20. Take advantage of health insurance while you have it.

21. Make a habit of telling people how you feel, whether it means writing a gushing fan-girl email to someone whose work you love or telling your boss why you deserve a raise.

22. Date someone who says, “I love you” first.

23. Leave the country under the premise of “finding yourself.” This will be unsuccessful. Places do not change people. Instead, do a lot of solo drinking, read a lot of books, have sex in dirty hostels, and come home when you start to miss it.

24. Suck it up and buy a Macbook Pro.

25. Quit that job that’s making you miserable, end the relationship that makes you act like a lunatic, lose the friend whose sole purpose in life is making you feel like you’re perpetually on the verge of vomiting. You’re young, you’re resilient, there are other jobs and relationships and friends if you’re patient and open.

Making my own NEET shirt

A day of boredom is a very common phenomenon in the life of a shut in and making your daily life as lively as possible is an every day challenge which always resulted in a very unproductive day but sometimes things do change and a miracle happens. Yes finally after three long years of cramming and procrastination I decided to make this cool shirt that I will be proud of whenever I go out at my house ( which I do rarely ) to show the world that I a freaking antisocial with my fucking dignity intact lol.

Here it is.. its a bit sloppy but its not bad for a beginner.

The preparation

Yep that’s all it takes to make a great shirt to be proud of.. and yes I use NEET cause its easy to cut manually and its the first thing that comes in my mind that time. All this effort resulted into this shirt.

Its my old shirt so its not in good condition and its only meant for testing. Oh well I did it and Im looking forward on making another one lol.

Weird Hobby

I’m an antisocial to begin with and there’s tons of difficulties that I’m experiencing when I’m about to engage into somehow necessary engagement with people like for example going to the supermarket because mainly I run out of supply for the following days and I can’t afford to sacrifice a whole week of comfortable life in my house by just getting annoyed going out and making unnecessary interactions with people whom I care less. So I don’t really have a choice but to go out there and make things happen, So upon doing this in a rare but regular basis, I developed a hobby that is not common to other people because to be honest it’s kind a weird and gives you the bad feeling if you are a normally functioning human being. I usually analyze people base on the actions and by the words they utter and I make a profile of every person I met in my mind palace and I use it as reference on judging another person by actually comparing verbal and physical significance on both individual which leads me on labeling all people with the same characteristic with other people without really getting to know more about that person. I really can’t stop myself on doing this because I love observing people on how they react on a certain situation and also I have this bad habit of always waiting for a certain person to make a mistake and how he will cope on that situation. Well base on my observation normal humans usually behave the same way as other human which fairly reasonable. Those people who talks a lot are more capable of getting embarrassed because their mouth moves faster than their tiny brain which makes them vulnerable to criticism. In the other hand quite people gets less criticism in a way that they utter less word that will make them vulnerable to other people, they choose their words and action very carefully to prevent unnecessary situation but they tend to see these people as the boring ones and that’s their only vulnerability which don’t really bothers them. There are also those silent psychopath that loves to toy with people by simply causing some triggers to put someone on a tight situation or simply instigating a fight without really getting involved so much on it or it can be describe as starting a flame and putting fuel on it to make it burn aggressively without being accused for doing such thing. Well I just kept on complicating everything that is around me and that makes my own life complicated but worth living.

How I Spend my Weekend

I wrote this article 3 years ago and everything that I wrote is a BIG LIE.

How do you usually spend your weekend? What is the first thing that comes in your mind when weekend is coming? These are some question that everybody might be thinking and asking themselves. Well to begin with, I’m gonna tell you how do I usually spend my weekend . The first thing do is to ask some of my friend to go out and something else, that’s the usuall thing we do but not frequently because some of my friend have their own plans on weekends and that includes my own plans too. Going out for a dinner with friends comes only twice a month because we usually drink beer instead of eating.

I spend most of the time on staying at home because my girlfriend usually visit me at home or its me that is going to his place to visit and watch movie all day. Sometimes we go out for a date on a weekend, we usually go to the mall for a walk and having some romantic dinner and then we go home. If your gonna ask me its better to spend your weekend on home together with your loves ones, because thats the main purpose of weekend, spending time with your love one’s and the most important thing is taking some good rest because you spend almost fives days of non stop work and you need to treat your self a nice food and a good rest.

Spending weekend for other people might be different on how I spend my weekend. Some people find it relaxing when they go out for a party and having some good beer with friends. I usually do that too when I’m still young, wild and free. Weekend is intended for resting for most people that are so busy with their work, that goes for me now because I’m too busy working that I’m craving for the weekends to come so that I can relax and rest the whole day. Spending a weekend sleeping is priceless.

Abac a Maranun ( Early in the Morning )

This is an ancient song from my ancestor, My ancestor are Pampango or Kapampangan. I translated it myself but its not perfectly translated due to some words are very deep and very old that they are not use anymore nowadays. Here’s the original context and the translation.

Abac A Maranun

Abac a maranun

English Translation

Early in the morning

Early in the morning
when I saw you
Carrying an Umbrella
Going to School

I intentionally approach you
Shared umbrella with you
you told me
I might get wet

While your walking
We step together
You’re looking at me
and I’m smiling

If you only knew
what I’m thinking
What I want that time
to rain endlessly

your legs
are in good proportion
they are like rice
they stand very well

If your gonna wear some slippers
those with color or roses
you’re like a virgin
in heaven you came from

There is this night
that I dream of you
you and I
we are together

The bright moon
is shining upon us
Below the shade
the we use for cover

Haikyuu!! Review

It’s kind a early to make a review about Haikyuu because I usually finish the whole series when I make a review but this time will be different because this anime series gives me the urge to write a review as soon as possible. Haikyuu looks like a typical sports anime but what’s making it different from other sports anime is that it feels realistic and it makes volleyball manly because base on my own thought about volleyball is a sport most played by girls. I never thought volleyball can be this cool and exciting. The show builds a great chemistry on every character and that makes it fun to watch due to a lot of possible potential that will rise in the future of the show. As of now I cannot make a full assumption on Haikyuu thus making my review base only on the 6 episode that has been release. My final notes about Haikyuu, It’s great show and it deserves the highest salutation of all the on-going new anime this spring.

A chance event triggered Shouyou Hinata’s love for volleyball. His club had no members, but somehow persevered and finally made it into its very first and final regular match of middle school, where it was steamrolled by Tobio Kageyama, a superstar player known as “King of the Court.” Vowing revenge, Hinata applied to the Karasuno High School volleyball club… only to come face-to-face with his hated rival, Kageyama!

A tale of hot-blooded youth and volleyball from the pen of Haruichi Furudate!!

Story of an Hikikomori

So I’m a hikikmori neet; though I do tend to venture out occasionally as a few things like groceries I’d rather not order online, and the current apt. I’m in doesn’t have a laundry room -__-

I’ve been “diagnosed” with a slew of mental issues/problems since an early age; some of the most notable are aspergers, BPD, and acute visual schizophrenia.

This led to even at one point when I was 17 being locked-up in a behavior medical center for a year; before coming to the conclusion that (regardless of my initial issues and then them labeling me as a borderline psychotic to boot) it was cheaper to pay me disability and let me live on the outside then continue to imprison/overly-drug/contain me.

Being sent there was probably in large part due to the H.S. I was in at the time ordering a psych eval. likely or at least partially in thanks to the fact I stopped verbally communicating in any fashion (went mute) in my junior year.

As such I’ve been keeping on as such through the present and likely until I pass on (which oddly enough for some reason since I was very little I have always though would happen when I was 50)

I’m currently 23 and spend roughly 10 hrs online, and (generally) about an equal 10 sleeping; all and all I thought I would just give a brief overview of myself and give greetings to all in the page

May everlasting content and serenity find you all,
